- I cleared the virus! Completed 72 weeks of tx on Feb. 6, 2009. Pegetron 135 µg weekly and Ribavirin 1000 mg daily. I am 54 years old, married, mother of two children and was diagnosed in January 2007 with Hepatitis C. This blog has been created to document my journey through treatment to try and clear the virus. I have added here for my own reference while I am clear headed prior to treatment why I am treating in case I lose my way during treatment and want to quit.
