- I cleared the virus! Completed 72 weeks of tx on Feb. 6, 2009. Pegetron 135 µg weekly and Ribavirin 1000 mg daily. I am 54 years old, married, mother of two children and was diagnosed in January 2007 with Hepatitis C. This blog has been created to document my journey through treatment to try and clear the virus. I have added here for my own reference while I am clear headed prior to treatment why I am treating in case I lose my way during treatment and want to quit. I am treating for the following: Mental Health – I lost myself, my goals, my sense of well-being when diagnosed with Hep C Constant haunting ache right side and back Fatigue (very noticeable since September 2006 – Prior to that I just pushed through it) Sore Joints Mild flu like symptoms from time to time Unknown when I became infected with virus

Just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday :). It's amazing the strength you have to keep hanging there every week. Next year you can have a bash to make up for the cruddy year this year. That's one kitchen party that would be worth going home for!
